and make the ordinary extraordinary

Know Thyself

Know ThyselfIt’s hard enough knowing ourselves, so it’s always interesting when someone else places us in a box. I guess we all do it, judge a book by its cover.

But worse still is when we construct the box ourself.

We all know that feeling when we have the opportunity for a complete change, to go to a place where no one knows us, but instead of being the person we have always wanted, we revert to “that self”, the one we have always known.

And while it may have worked for us in the past it may not be working so well now.

So our challenge becomes to drop the one that we no longer require, that’s out of date, and pick up the one, “that self”, that we so desperately need.

And then realise that if you:

“Empty your mind and think nothing of me, then you’ll understand me.”
