Hanging Upside Down

I learnt much of what I need in life as a youth on a rock.
You see one of the tricks to climbing is knowing when you’re getting a rest and when you’re not. It sounds ridiculous, but when you’re half way up a cliff looking at the next difficult sequence you grab a rest wherever you can.
But you have to ask yourself; is this rest, does it help or am I just fatiguing? Hanging upside down on your finger tips tends to move you rapidly into draining territory. Time is running out, the clock is ticking. If you don’t move soon, you’re off.
If you get a rest, you get a rest, well and good. But if it’s your path then it’s time to move, and move now. Sometimes hanging around doesn’t make things easier.
See your route, find your path, make your move.

Sounds like life to me.
