Changing Directions, Revealing the Path

It’s not always what you want, sometimes it’s what you don’t that can guide your way home.

So often we’re asked what we desire, where it is that we want our lives to go? And if you know, then good for you. But often the path isn’t clear and you’re just not sure which direction to go.

But I can guarantee you this: you’ll know where it is that you don’t want to be, you’ll know what it is that needs to desperately change. And this too is a direction.

If you’re in a place and know that something has to change, but you haven’t the foggiest which way to head, then make a list of the things you need gone, all the things that can no-longer remain. And then, head in the direction that takes you away from where you presently are.

It’s like travel. Sometimes you don’t know exactly where it is that you want to go, you just know that you have to leave. So you leave, and the path appears before you and you make it up as you go along.

Sometimes it’s not the “where to”, but the “where from” that the path is finally revealed.
